                                                                 Lesson 3

                                                Colors and The Plan of Salvation

1. Look up the Spiritual Meaning of each color in the Bible Word Pictures, and write the meaning beside each circle. Then, color the circle using crayons, or magic markers, or colored pencils.

2. Combine two connected colors to obtain a new color and look up the meaning of each new color and write it beside the circle.

COLORS AND THE PLAN OF SALVATION

Yellow + Blue = Green

Red + Blue = Purple

Red + Yellow = Amber or Fire Color or Orange

The Plan of Salvation in the Colors

Just as all Colors are made from the 3 Primary Colors of (Blue, Red, Yellow), everything that exists was made by the 3 Members of the Godhead.

(The Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit).

Each member of the Godhead is represented by one of the Primary Colors (Blue, Red, Yellow) as well as by one of the Primary Elements(Law,Blood, Love)of the Plan of Salvation.

The combination of the Blood of Jesus and His Perfect Life of Obedience to God’s Law, gives us the opportunity to become part of God’s Royal Family

The combination of the Love of God given to us by the Holy Spirit and the Perfect obedience to God’s Law offered to us by Jesus gives us Hope and produces the Fruit of a changed life.

The combination of the Blood of Jesus and His Perfect Life of Obedience to God’s Law, gives us the opportunity to become part of God’s Royal Family.

We know that everything is in its proper place because of the connection the Bible makes between these specific colors and spiritual things.

We see the 3 members of the Godhead

and the 3 primary Elements of the Plan of Salvation :

Law, Love, and Jesus’ Blood

Connected to these elements are the

3 primary Goals that God has for us :

To have Hope and to produce Fruit

To become Kings as part of His Royal Family

To see Him in His Glory

The way these Goals can be realized is seen and understood by following the lines which connect the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) with the other colors (green, purple, amber). Everything is interdependent, or each depends on the other. Just as there are physical limitations, there are spiritual limitations.

You cannot make green without yellow and blue. Even so, you cannot have Hope, nor produce Fruit, without first having the Love of the Spirit and God’s 10 Commandment Law written in your heart.

As you cannot make purple without red and blue, even so to become Kings in God’s Royal Family, we must first allow Jesus to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, through His Blood, and then to believe in His Perfect Life of Obedience in keeping God’s Law.

The 3 primary Elements of Salvation:

Law, Love, and Jesus’ Blood are supplied by God Himself.

The 3 primary Goals for us are actually Gifts, which are given to us on condition:

May God help us to “fulfill the conditions”, so that we may obtain the Gifts” that God wants to give us!!!
